Welcome to my little corner of the 'Net.
I live with my lovely wife,
Lauren,
and our adoring cat,
Alva,
(or did I get that backward?)
in beautiful
Austin, Texas.
Who am I?
I am a computer junkie with a bad habit for adopting
ancient hardware.
Some have compared me to Fred Sanford in that respect.
(Don't worry if you don't get it.)
I'm a UNIX bigot with a special bias against the inelegant designs from
Microsoft.
I'm not a games addict as the novelty of the newest creation wears off
pretty quickly, but I do enjoy something clever once in a while.
Unfortuantely my other hobby saps all my funds, so I really don't have
any capital available to build a modern game-playing machine.

a short bio
if you're really that interested.
I'm also a confessed car nut. I'm obsessed with horsepower and hanging the tail out through a sweeper. You can click in the images to get more details about my excellent vehicles below. It all started in high school with two of my friends and their '68 and '69 GTOs. I've since cultivated that special taste for Pontiacs, but I can appreciate any car that can accelerate or turn well. I'm not a big fan of front wheel drive as understeer really kills the fun-factor. If you can't guess by the pictures below, I am partial to GTs.
