My wife grabbed a Quadra 700 at a local auction. It's a fun little machine and good for games (okay, really good for that!), word processing and layout (professional typesetting work is, of course, done with TeX), and personal finances. My current addiction is Escape Velocity, a new shoot-em-up/strategy game from the exceptional labs of Ambrosia Software.

We also just bought a PowerBook 190 for computing on the go. Cute little bugger and it's got more processing power than all the big machines I have. :-? How sad.
